Time for A Focus On Transfer

The pace of change and complexity of our world today requires that we teach young people how to use their knowledge and skills in authentic and creative ways -- which is learning transfer.

All of our courses provide immediately useful tools with thought-provoking, short videos followed by discussion and application. We offer levels of courses designed to provide choice and tailored options based on your experience, interest, and needs. We also host mashups, which combine our work with the work of collaborators in our network. Most courses use a cohort model and sell-out fast. Send questions to juliabriggs@juliehstern.com

What people are saying:

John Hattie

Researcher, Visible Learning

"For two hundred years, one of our dirtiest secrets is that while we know the importance of transfer from one problem to another or from one situation to another, it has been notoriously hard to know how to teach students to transfer. Finally, along comes this book dedicated to the core issues of teaching transfer."

Christine Haslett

Head of Primary, Dulwich College Shanghai-Puxi

"This was an invaluable opportunity to connect with other educational leaders around the world to rethink educational practice for the moral purpose of truly shaping the future."

Richard Healy

Head of Secondary, British School Manila

"I have never seen a professional learning program have such a great impact on faculty."
